Scrapbooking Calendar Class

Create a an exciting 12 month calendar in 8×8 format, including covers and all bound together with the bind it all tool. Includes 12- 8×8 sketches and 12- 12×12 sketches. To be completed over 4 months, if you are unable to get to all of the classes, no worries there will be a kit made up for you.
$92.99 includes all 4 classes and all product used, supply list provided before each class.

Looking for a getaway, some summer fun, look no further Scrapbooking Swede is offering two crops in August. They are your sure answer for a day of fun and scrapbooking, the first is our Swede Treat Crop that will take place on Saturday August 9th from 9am-6pm. The secong is our Pizza Crop on Saturday August 23rd from 9am-8pm. Call the store for details on both of these great days out and register soon as to avoid dissapointment. HAPPY SCRAPPING!

Frosty Tree Christmas Card Class - Thursday August 14th, 7pm-9pm

Get a jump on your Christmas cards and take this class, you will learn how to efficiently utilize one piece of pattern paper to make 5 cards, along with some fun and exciting techniques. Cost $15.99, Supplies - cutter, scissors, tape runner, glue dots, pop up dots & silver ink.

Swede Treat Crop- Saturday, August 9th, 9am-6pm

What an awesome combination, scrapbooking and sweets, does life get any better! Refreshments and munchies are provided and each person is asked to bring enough of their favorite sweet to share with about 10 people, so dig out those old family recipes and come and join us for a very swede day. Cost $10.00

Reminder

Just a quick reminder to everyone that Scrapbooking Swede will be closed Tuesday July 21st - Friday July 25th. The store is open on Saturday July 19 & Saturday July 26th so you will still be able to get those very important products that you need to keep on creating.

July & August Classes

Some of you may have noticed that I am having technical difficulties with this post! This will be my 6th time trying to get it right………let’s hope I succeed one of these times!

Flower Garden Resist Class - Saturday July 19th, 10am-1pm

Can you resist? Come and join Angelique, you will learn this very neat emboss technique and create depth to your layouts and cards. With some heat you can make this class your new favorite.

Cost $ 24.99, Supplies- Versamark, scissors, trimmer, black pen, craft mat & embossing gun.

Eleven great hours of scrapbooking with pizza for lunch. This crop includes, snacks, refreshments, give-a-ways, and a make-ntake. Register early as thses crops fill fast. Cost $20.00

Clearly Unique Coaster Book Class - Wednesday, August 27th, 6:30-8:30pm

This really is a unique class that teaches you techniques that are awesome when used with clear elements, leaving you with a fabulous little memory book to take home. Cost $18.99, Supplies- Glue dots, tweezers, crop-o-dile.

Scrapbooking Calendar Class - Saturday, August 30th, 1-4pm

Come and join Angelique with her new project. When you are finished this class you will have a completed, Photo or Art Calendar, Memories Calendar, Family Project, Children’s Calendar, Personalized Unique Gift, Different Scene each month, Cherished Keepsake, Pre-School Project, Teacher’s Project or Grandparents Project of your choice. It is all about what you want to create this keepsake for.

One project with so many uses - how cool is that?

We will make it in 8×8 format, complete with a cover that we will make with the Bind-it-all. You will learn tips, tricks and techniques to do many more projects after the class is done.

Since we are doing a full year in review along with a cover, the class will be held over 4 months, starting, August 30th, ready in time for a gift for the holidays or a keepsake for you.

Class dates are: August 30th, Sept 20th, Oct 25th & Nov 8th, all classes run from 1-4pm.

July is here already, where does the time go! The heat has hit and things are really starting to warm up at Scrapbooking Swede, we are so excited about the new product that keeps arriving and also for our exciting summer classes.

There are a few dates that we would like you to be aware of, I am heading to Alberta for a personal/business trip so

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we are hoping that we will be able to bring back some new techniques to start the fall of right.

There will be no Friday night crops in July or August but they will resume again in September. We are having “A Swede Treat” Crop on Saturday August 9^th, each person is asked to bring a favorite sweet to share with about 10 people. Snacks & refreshments are provided. Due to the high popularity of our Saturday Pizza Crops we will be having another one August 23^rd, these crops are packed with 11 hours of fun, snacks, refreshments, give-a-ways and a make-n-take, along with a pizza lunch.

Have a group that wants a night out or maybe a special class that you would like to take, just let us know and we will arrange something for you, the limits are endless, all that we require is that there is a minimum of 4 people participating. This is a great opportunity for kids over the summer, so plan a day out with friends at the Scrapbooking Swede!

We so understand the hustle and bustle that comes with the Christmas season and how quickly it comes upon us, at Scrapbooking Swede we hope to help with that stress and put the fun back into making and creating those perfect Christmas Cards & Gifts. We will begin offering card classes in August and we will be starting our Calendar Class. Descriptions of all classes on back.

Upcoming Newsletter

Happy July Everyone!

We hope that you had a great Canada day, the weather was awesome and outdoor activities abundant.

Scrapbooking Swede is in the process of completing the July/August Newsletter, there are a few unconfirmed dates and a few scheduling issues that still need to be resolved so expect to see the official newsletter after the weekend. In the meantime come on into the store and check out all of the new product we have some very exciting new things.
